A Bridge Too Far

Dear gentle reader(s): I apologize for going off the deep end politically in my last two entries. I really was upset by the Giuliani coverage, but perhaps I should have moderated my views a little bit. After all, I really didn't vomit on my R-J yesterday morning, and I'm sure the bias I'm talking about will be corrected at some future date. Perhaps the R-J will run a loving spread on Hillary Clinton when she next comes to town.

In other news, we've gone to see a movie today, and it was pretty well done for a Disney flick. We had no idea what we were getting into, but it was a powerful story told through the eyes of 5th or 6th grade children. It had some depth to it and some decent acting, but I'm a pushover when it comes to movies in general. The hard part is getting me to go to one -- the easy part is getting me to like one.

Anyway, I highly recommend Bridge to Terabithia as a good family film. Accordingly, we were the only ones in the theater. Still, it was worth seeing, and not quite as sugary sweet as some Disney flicks. I'm being vague on purpose, because I don't want to ruin anything, but it was a worthwhile film. Here's a review I like from the Chicago Tribune.
