Cynicism
I earnestly sent two emails to Presidential campaigns last week, only to receive no response at all from one camp and a couple of generic emails from the other. I actually got signed up to an email list I didn't want from the Obama '08 campaign. The title of the email they sent was "cynicism." Ironically, one reason cynicism runs so deep is that so many politicians can't answer a direct question, and I got no direct answers via email either. Email gives the illusion of instant access, but there's no real dialogue going on when the only response could have been written by a computer. I wonder if anyone will actually respond directly to the questions I posed. I'll probably have to keep posing them, but I'm starting to get discouraged, if not cynical.

Don't get cynical - just get some rest:) Again (I know I talk about this guy a lot, but I like his writing) my friend wrote about cynicism here
It's so hard to get rest!
