Knee-jerk reactions
My knee-jerk reaction to this news about the Obama campaign was to get on my blog and denounce all other knee-jerk reactions. Huffington Post be damned! How dare they take words out of context and twist them to meet their own shallow political ends?! I know this stuff happens all the time. I hope Obama can still score points despite the flak he's getting. It's crucial that he stop Hillary's momentum if she were to, say, win big in a big state April 22. Otherwise we'll have a deadlocked convention for the Democrats and an ugly battle over seating delegates and superdelegates. Obama really needs to win Pennsylvania and the next 9 states to "lock up" the nomination. I don't think that'll happen. It'll probably be a split. Interesting that Hillary's suddenly become a champion of old-time religious values and gun rights, though, isn't it?
