Hillary Clinton, Harold Ickes, and Me -- A Beauty Contest Tale

Hillary's campaign strategist Harold Ickes just claimed that the DNC Rules Committee "hijacked" the vote in Michigan by allocating 59 of the delegates to Obama and not giving Mr. Ickes everything he wanted -- 73 delegates for Hillary, instead of 69 (and of course, none for Obama). He must suffer from delusions of grandeur, because if I remember right, and it wasn't that long ago, Hillary was THE ONLY NAME ON THE BALLOT in Michigan, which makes it more like a beauty contest than a true election. She ran unopposed and only got a slim majority. The whole nomination contest is about as over as it can get, and Hillary's camp doesn't know when to quit.

How about, instead of calling it a beauty contest, we call it a rigged election? The other candidates had respect for the rules. Hillary's trying to pull one over on the American people, and it makes me mad.
