What do y'all do to relax? I mean, I like blogging and all, but does it really relax you? My focus has been on politics lately, and I don't think that's too relaxing. I'm all wound up about who's going to win this thing. I want the truth to win somehow, but I'm sure it won't. Both sides are stretching and exaggerating and twisting the truth, to put it mildly. Both sides have facts at their disposal that make the other guy look bad, and they're seizing on opportunistic interpretations to make their case. I guess that's the nature of politics, but it isn't the way it's supposed to be. Is our society suffering from too much information, or what?
I'm home for lunch trying to relax (at my wife's suggestion) while dealing with an exhausted feeling coming from a restless night and a lot of stressful situations at work. I can't resist the urge to type into this blog, but I know I'll be less relaxed thinking about these things than I would be if I just changed the subject. Still, it doesn't seem authentic to me to write about anything else. I watched the baseball game last night, and it was somewhat exciting and gave me something else to think about for a while. Still, I was disappointed the Red Sox lost, so it's on to next season (Go A's!). I hope this I don't sound too down, but I wanted to throw this out there for some help on how to relax.
