Health care being ignored?

The last two days have been disappointing in terms of coverage of the health care debate. The poll numbers got big play, being reported on virtually every news outlet I turn to, but the underlying issues got relatively little attention.

Here's a very sober report on access to health care. It states that reform may not help because people will still use emergency rooms as a point of entry, among other things. While I agree that systematic change is needed, let's start with reforming the way we pay for health care on the back end and see what changes in incentives we can build into the system to improve access on the front end.
