I saw this post from NASA on Google+ and liked it so much I thought I'd reshare it. It's amazing that 1) it took 34 years to travel to the beginning of the edge of our solar system, and 2) the satellites continue to function the way that they were designed. What kind of power system do the Voyagers have? I don't think there are too many things from 1977 that are still around here on Earth, so it's pretty cool that there are two of them out in space.
