Obama-Romney Honesty Scorecard
I've tuned out most of the political ads and the debates this year, so who am I going to vote for, and what am I going to base it on? I am going to try a new approach this year -- I will base my vote on an honesty scorecard based on the candidates' websites. I don't have time to get into this project just now, but I wanted to get input from my faithful reader(s) on what they are basing their vote on this year. Is there something else I should focus on, other than the campaign websites? The websites should have the most comprehensive information on the candidates' positions on issues, so I will look at the issue statements on the websites for honesty. I know honesty is subjective, but I think it is important that candidates level with the people on where they stand and what they will do. It comes down to a trust factor on some level, but if I can identify which candidate is stretching the truth more often, then that candidate doesn't deserve my vote. I will try to do some kind of graphic to announce my decision. More later.
