"I Get By With a Little Help..."

from my friends, as the old song goes. I need feedback from friends on these blog projects I'm doing. I'm writing too much in a vacuum, and it feels a little lonely, to be honest. I did receive one interesting critical comment on my book blog, from someone whom I respect and whom I invited to comment on the blog via email, and that felt really good. Still, it didn't last, as the person I contacted apparently no longer lives in Las Vegas. Still, through the wonder of the Internet, he could conceivably check up on this blog or the book blog from anywhere in the U.S. I don't think he'll bother, but you never know. I'm also starting a proofreading blog, and it may lead to a business, if I can get some readership or interaction. Time shall tell. (What is the difference between "shall" and "will," anyway? I think in British English "shall" indicates an act of the will, ironically.) Well, all's well that ends well. Ta ta.
