Getting Serious
After watching a few YouTube clips of Fox News and other sources, I have to say this political season is getting serious now. The anti-Obama forces are doing their best to get traction on guilt-by-association attacks, and Obama is going on the offense with a "how many homes does John McCain own?" ad. The personal attack ad from Obama is designed to undercut the idea that John McCain can empathize with Americans, but it is still a personal attack. It's a little disappointing from the man who promises to change American politics, but I guess a little offense never hurts when you've been attacked for a long time. Still, I'm encouraged by a Time magazine interview I read, and I hope more people start getting their news from print sources than TV or YouTube. Here's the Time piece. Enjoy!
