We're Talking SNOW!
Everyone who's lived in Las Vegas for a while knows that it snows from time to time -- I'd say, on average, about once every two years. Well, my friend Jeff must have brought some winter weather with him from Winnipeg, because we are talking SNOW here tonight! Accumulations of 3-10 inches are predicted for the entire valley. I will be highly disappointed if I wake up tomorrow to see all that snow melted, or worse, rain, as predicted. I wish I had some pictures, but both cameras aren't working. It took us an hour and a half to get home, including a slippery slide up a normally pretty tame hill because of packed snow and possibly ice. It's thrilling -- I can't keep the smile off my face, unless I'm driving. I hope the mess isn't too bad out there tonight and tomorrow we can wake up to that blessed event -- a SNOW DAY!
