X Men Origins: Wolverine
Just watched the latest X-Men movie, and enjoyed it for the most part. It's an action movie, not a philosophical treatise, so there's not a lot of deep thought in the film. Still, the plotting was pretty good, and it was interesting to see the characters of Wolverine and Sabretooth interact throughout the movie. Wolverine is a favorite comic book character of mine, although I always sort of preferred the "nice guy" Cyclops in his competition with Wolverine. Liev Schreiber did a good job playing the rougher older brother in this movie, and Hugh Jackman was good in the title role, too. Some of the best lines were in the previews, so they didn't come as a surprise. Still, it was interesting. A disappointment was that some of the supporting characters didn't get much of a chance to develop. Some were killed off early.
