John Ensign's cold, cold heart

Maybe the back-to-back blizzards in Washington are coming from the deep vortex surrounding John Ensign's heart, similar to "The Day After Tomorrow."  Similar to this photo from the film, actually:

Sure, some may blame global warming for the changing weather patterns, but I personally hold the Republican Senator from Nevada responsible.
