Okay, so maybe I was off a bit in blaming John Ensign for all the snow in Washington, D.C. Turns out, there's snow all over the country (in every state but Hawaii). See the map below:
Luckily, in Las Vegas, it's 60 degrees and sunny. Didn't stop us from finding snow yesterday, though. Skiing in Las Vegas is a little different than other places -- more drinking and swearing than I'm used to -- but still a fun experience. M. almost gave up after our first run took about an hour to complete (it was her first time on skis ever), but she hung in there and skied with an instructor in the afternoon. She really had fun, and so did I!
