After reading some old posts from July 2009, I think a little humility might be in order -- way back then, I raised the possibility of the Democrats picking UP seats in 2010 -- a laughable prediction right now. Just something for me and my loyal reader(s) to keep in mind.
Also, I attended Central Christian Church's online campus today, and discovered a few reminders of just who's in charge here -- not me, thank God, but rather the person of Jesus Christ. The advice of the pastor today had nothing to do with politics (another blessed relief) but more to do with living at peace with each other as much as possible. I know I can be more peaceful in my posts. I know my opinions are sometimes on the strong side, so please forgive a little ranting and venting. I have anger that needs to be released, some of which gets expressed here and some of which stays bottled up. More later, perhaps...
