MSNBC evokes Obama to add interest to German election article

I haven't blogged in a while, so I thought I'd pick it back up with a brief note about a story that interests me.

I like this headline and the article itself -- it is a little U.S. centered, but you expect that from a U.S. news outlet: Voters yawn as Obama-style election tactics hit Germany.  The headline cuts both ways.  I kinda like Angela Merkel, but I'm not sure she excites the same passion as Obama does (both ways) in this country.
