Here are some pics to liven up my page. These are approximations only.
My cat is a long-haired brown mackerel similar to this one. His eyes are more yellow than green, though. I also have a grey and white tiger striped cat with a white underbelly. Ernie (the one that looks like the photo to right) is more my cat than Tommy. Though both of them would probably wish they just belonged to my wife, as little as I pay attention to them.
My job is as part of a company that manages homeowners' associations, so I get to make lots of new friends and help build community in a city that has virtually no sense of community in any of its suburbs. The urban core of Las Vegas is made up of workers and tourists, so it doesn't really count as community, either.
I'm believing I can make the world a better place, but it's going to come at no small personal sacrifice, and I have to build on the idea that I really am building community. It's going to be an interesting couple of years. There's lots of paperwork involved. Wish me luck!
